Danny and Patsy are both lifelong residents of Johnson County. Danny served for many years as the Johnson County Clerk before founding Mountain City Funeral Home in 2005. Patsy was an instructor at Mountain City Elementary School and retired in 2014. They have two children: Shawna Thomason and her husband Jonathan and Eric Cullop and one granddaughter, Violet Elaine Thomason. They are both members of First Baptist Church of Mountain City, TN.
Eric is the son of Danny and Patsy Cullop. He is a graduate of Johnson County High School, Northeast State Community College and a 2013 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service of Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Mountain City, TN.
Brittany is a lifelong resident of Johnson County. She graduated from Johnson County High School in 2008 and Virginia Highlands Community College in 2011. She is married to Mitchell Reece and they have one daughter, Mia. Brittany is the daughter of Mike and Lori Davis of Mountain City, TN. Brittany and her family are members of the Dewey Christian Church.
Casey is a native of Johnson County. She is the daughter of Cindy Roberts and the granddaughter of Harold and Judy Wilson. Casey is married to Jeremiah Harris and they have two children, Bentley and Finn. She is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, Georgia where she was honored as salutatorian of her class.
Temple is the wife of Mike Reece. She has a son Kenny Andrews, son Johnny Andrews and daughter-in-law April, stepdaughter Mikah Reece Cook and four grandchildren; Madisyn and Macie Farrow and Lillian and Fields Andrews. She is a member of Dewey Christian Church.
Temple is a licensed counselor with years of experience and recently earned her license from the State of Tennessee as a Pre-need Agent. She is currently employed at Johnson County Bank and is a volunteer Assistant Director at Johnson County Center for the Arts. She has been very active in our community for many years and will be an asset to the families of Mountain City Funeral Home.
Norman is a lifelong resident of Johnson County and is married to Jeannie Snodgrass Taylor. They have three daughters: Angela Rininger and husband Don, Heather Robinson and husband Lynn and Kailee Taylor; three grandchildren: Taylor Robinson, Ethan Robinson and Colton Rininger. Norman is a graduate of Johnson County High School and East Tennessee State University. He is a member of Shady Valley Presbyterian Church.
