Eric Raymond Clawson

Eric Raymond Clawson, age 51, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on September 17, 1969 to the late Herman and Docie Clawson. Eric never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors, collecting rocks, and fishing. Spending time with his granddaughter, Jaycee, was one of his greatest joys. Eric was a member of Baker’s Gap Baptist Church. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Ethan Clawson and Joshua Clawson; sisters, Phyllis Isaacs (Rob), Gaye Dunn (Fred), and Lisa Phillips (Tim); brother, Keith Clawson (Becky); granddaughter, Jaycee Clawson; mother of his children, Lisa Clawson; special great-niece, Madison Riffle; his best friend and sidekick, his furry pal, Scooter; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Baker’s Gap Cemetery with Minister James Richardson officiating. Pallbearers are Jason Stanton, Kevin Curd, Fred Dunn, Tim Phillips, Rob Isaacs, and Keith Clawson. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Green, Jimmy Phipps, Rob Phillippi, and Bobby Stanton.
