Wayne Martin

Wayne Christian Martin, age 83, of Mountain City, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at his home. He was born January 19, 1941 in Memphis, TN to the late Richard Martin and Ruby Gunn Martin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Martin; daughters, Deborah Martin and Kimberly Martin; grandchildren, Lucy Darocha and Blake Darocha. 

 Wayne was a loving devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was always a dreamer and a do-er. He was loved by all his family and many friends.

 Those left to cherish his memories include his daughters; Johna and Rocky Brown, Ann and Burgin Claiborne; sons, Patrick and Lorne Martin-Quarles, Rick and Mary Elizabeth Martin, Matthew and Margaret Martin; grandchildren, Houston and Lindsey Martin, Chelsey and Jacie Martin, Alexander and Meko Martin-Weir, Madeline Rose Baker, Jacob Wilson, Molly and Jonathan Darocha, Nathan Thomas Lee, Simon Martin, Julian Martin, Avery Rose Martin, and Ellery Martin; great-grandchildren, Madison Martin, Holden Martin, Patterson Martin, Thompson Martin, and Anthony Darocha.

 It was Wayne’s wish to be cremated, with a private service in addition to a Mass at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on January 18, 2025.
