Van Taylor

Van Taylor, 84 of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his home.

Van was born July 14, 1940 to the late John and Flora Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse of 43 years, Fay Taylor; son, Rodney Taylor; brother, Danny Taylor and sister, Shirley Hall.

Those left to cherish his memories include his daughters, Debbie (Stacy) Thomas, Eunice Taylor; sisters, May Jackson, April Pierce of Mountain City; brother, Robert Taylor of Poolsville, Maryland; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and one special little man Conner Vance Taylor.

Van was a generous man and a master carpenter. He loved target shooting, pitching horseshoes and playing cards.

No formal services were held.

The family of Van Taylor has entrusted his care to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
