Valerie Edes

Valerie Jean Dorothy Edes, age 83 of Mountain City, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at her home. Valerie was born June 10, 1940 to the late Francis Theodore Lasky and June Julia Oldak Lasky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Lasky (the one that played for the Giants.)

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Gina Bisignano, Marianne Luongo, June Bisignano; son, Joe Bisignano; grandchildren, Ava Valerie Bisignano, Joseph Patrick Bisignano, Derek Lansky, Tyler Hudson, Jillian Jackson, Nicholas Hudson, Todd Hudson Jr., Robin Edes, Vincent Sharkey III; great grandchildren, James Jackson, Skylar Hudson, Jacob Hudson, Ashby Hudson, Nicholas Hudson Jr., Jorden Edes, Peyton Edes, Karsen Edes; great great granddaughter, Presleigh Edes.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. The graveside service and burial will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joe Bisignano, Tyler Hudson, Nicholas Hudson, Todd Hudson, Vincent Sharkey III, Derek Lansky, and Jorden Edes.
