Tommy Russell Brewer

Tommy Russell Brewer, age 42, of Mountain City, TN passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center.  He was born in Mountain City, Johnson County, TN on May 23, 1976. Tommy enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. He also liked to draw and spend time reading the Bible. Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Tommy R. Brewer and wife Susie of Mountain City, TN; mother, Vickie Wilson Seats and husband Jeff of Bluff City, TN; daughter, Kaitland Alexis of Kingsport, TN; sisters, Nioka Curtis and husband Greg of Waverly, TN, Tabitha Dollar and husband Andrew of Boone, NC, Angela Acosta of Bristol, TN and Betty Lynn Hilliard of Bluff City, TN;  brothers, Billy Officer and wife Jennifer of Morganton, NC, James Hilliard and Jody Hilliard of Bluff City, TN; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Shannon Courtner to officiate.  The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Locust Gap-Gambill Springs Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Fred Brewer, Jr., Jason Brewer, Robbie Brewer, James Brewer, Billy Officer and Truman Woods.
