Todd Morefield

Todd Morefield, age 55, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Life Care Center of Gray. Todd was born December 12, 1968 to the late Homer and Rose Morefield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Chambers (Richard Chambers) and niece, Emily Corum; special friends, Jackie Abel.

Todd was a gentle giant who was a friend to all and truly valued his family and friendships. He was the ultimate country boy and found beauty in everything. Todd was down to earth and you never heard him complain. He was an avid collector and a trader at heart. He was also a fanatic U.T. and Patriots football fan. Todd was a lifelong member of the Sugar Creek community and of the Christian faith.

Those left to cherish his memories include his nieces, Annie Chambers (Glen Keys) and her children Lexi Hartley and Levi Chambers, Danielle Blankenship (Robert) and children Emily and Johnny Blankenship, Meghan Huskins (Kevin) and children Connor, Dylan, and Cayden Huskins; Violet Morefield (Mom); sister, Sonia Morefield; niece, Tynae Tester (Cody) and children Eli, Easton, Ean, Willow, Tanner; various aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friend, Larry Nichols.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Maurice Widener to officiate. The graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Stateline Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Tester, Eli Tester, Connor Huskins, Dylan Huskins, Tyler Yarber, Nathaniel Martin, Chris Summerow, Josh Morefield, and Wayne Gentry. Honorary pallbearers are Robbie Morefield, Joe Morefield, John Riley Morefield, Steve Gorsline, David Pennington, Charlie Martin, Deanie Gentry, and Doug Mink.
