Timothy Church

Timothy Reed “Chong” Church, age 62, passed away August 12, 2024 at Johnson County Community Hospital. He was born May 9, 1962 in Avondale, PA to Dolly Stikney and the late Walter Reed Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Tim “Pee-Wee” Church Jr.; sister, Tammy Church; brother, Tom Church, and nephew, Anthony “George” Church.

Chong loved being outdoors and enjoyed gardening and riding his motorcycle. He also adored his dog, Pup-pup.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Kathy Morefield Church; sons, Brandon Church and Dillon Church; brothers, Tony Church, Billy Reed Fletcher; grandchildren, Austin Church, Justin Church, Joseph Church, Riley Church, Brett Church, Konnor Church; great grandson, Braxton Church; nieces and nephews, Emily Church, Thunder Fletcher, Isabella Fletcher, Waylon Fletcher; special friends, Terry Dugger, Jack Pierce and several cousins. 

It was his wish for no formal services.

The family of Timothy Reed “Chong” Church has entrusted his care to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
