Shirley Moore

Shirley Jeanette Garland Moore, age 76, of Shady Valley, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.  She was born on April 25, 1942 to the late Joseph Lewis Garland and the late Ardie Myrtle Bishop Garland.  In addition to her parents,  Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Winters; infant sister, Joyce Garland; and brothers; Willie Garland and James Garland.

Those left to cherish her memories include several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; and her friends at Mountain City Care Center.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Mountain City Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Steven Spencer officiating.

Per Shirley’s wishes, she will be cremated following the service.
