Ruth Wilson

Ruth Honeycutt Wilson, age 83, passed away January 28, 2025 at Johnson City Medical Center. Ruth was born April 1, 1941 in Sioux, NC to the late Lester and Carrie Honeycutt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Madeline Honeycutt Mertz; brothers, Harlan Honeycutt, Jack Honeycutt, Rome Honeycutt, Leonard Honeycutt, Brownie Honeycutt, Benny Honeycutt, and Terry Honeycutt.

Ruth was a selfless people pleaser who wanted to make everyone happy. It was important to her to keep her family and friends fed and full. Ruth was a godly woman who loved her church family, and they loved her. She was a member of Nelson Chapel Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Jim Wilson; daughters, Donna Pitzer, Darlene Peterson; son, James Wilson and wife Martha; grandchildren, Ethan Wilson and wife Erin, Everett Wilson, Spencer Boyer, Carrie Manes, Erik Price, Zack Price, Kyle Price, Angela Chang, Sanghwan Chang; several great grandchildren.

No formal service will be held.
