Ronald Thomas

Ronald Thomas, age 77, passed away December 30, 2024 at his home. Ronald was born June 14, 1947 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Mary Ruth Sheffey and James Thomas.

Ronald was a one of a kind man who was always willing to help anyone. He enjoyed fishing and hunting as much as he could. He was also known for his extravagant stories and tall tales.

Those left to cherish his memories include his girlfriend, Lucinda Stampe; daughters, Tonya Capolupo (John), Laura Duffy (Tom); sons, Edward Thomas (Faith), Ronald Thomas, David Dart, Rendell Stampe, Jason Stampe, Brian Stampe. Joshua Stampe; sisters, Karen Tyree, Sharon Sheffey, Mary “Flossy” Sheffey; brothers, Sid Thomas and Randy Sheffey; grandchildren, Logan Capolupo, CJ Erickson, Jami Doremus, Jill Capolupo, Brookelynn Pagans, Jodi Lake, Nick Capolupo; pseudo-sister, Susan Burnham; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

It was Ronald’s wish to be cremated and a celebration of life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rescue Dog and End of Life Sanctuary, 977 Harbin Hill Rd, Mountain City, TN 37683.
