Rommie Lee Roark

Rommie Lee Roark, age 74, of Creston, NC went home with his Savior on Thursday evening, November 28, 2024 at his home. He was born December 27, 1949 to the late Rommie and Ruth Price Roark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Max Roark, Wayne Roark, Grant Roark, and Gordon Roark.

Lee was a hardworking and humble man who loved his family. He was a wonderful mechanic and handyman and could fix anything. Lee enjoyed being outdoors.

Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 52 years, Norene Mahala Roark; son, Ronnie Roark (April); special grandson, Owen Lee Roark; special granddaughter, Abbigale Roark; sisters, Mary Roark, Jane Greer, and Vertie Price (Junior); brothers, Rocky Roark (Bonnie), and Grady Roark; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his AEV family, and many special friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Brothers Jim Henson and Anthony Roark officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow from the Price-Roark Cemetery in Rock Creek, NC. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
