Ralph Edison Miller

Ralph Edison Miller, age 71, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.  He was born on August 28, 1947 to the late Wade Copher Miller Sr. and Ruth Virginia Nichols Miller.  In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a brother, Wade Copher Miller Jr. and first wife of 43 years and mother of his children, Linda Jackson Miller.

Ralph loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could.  He worked in construction for many years and made many lifetime friends.  Ralph enjoyed his television and politics, fishing and family gatherings.  He also liked horses. Ralph served as Deacon at his church during his earlier years.    

Ralph had two special four legged friends that he loved dearly, his dogs Coco and Ginger. 

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Paulette Hatley Miller; children, Denise Greer and husband John, Michele Fouad and husband Eric, Dianne Ramey and husband Danny; step-children, Angie Walsh and husband Sam and Michael Walsh and wife Michele; sister, Diana Heath; brothers, Larry Miller and wife Connie, Earl Miller and wife Denise and Terry Miller; grandchildren, Brandon Greer, Bradley Greer, Brianna Gilliam, Emily Shumate, Jacob Ramey, Abbi Blevins and Faith Walsh; several beloved nieces and nephews; special friend, Brenda Eldreth and many more.

A viewing and gathering for family and friends will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Mountain City Funeral Home.
