Melissa Morefield

Melissa Faye Morefield, age 51, passed away October 23, 2023 in Bristol, TN. Melissa was born February 14, 1972 in Carter County, TN to the late David and Maybell Hatley.

Melissa thoroughly loved life and savored every moment of it. She enjoyed being outside and always liked going to the flea markets. She was a wonderful wife and mother and loved spending time with her family, friends and grandkids.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of almost 28 years, James Morefield; children, Cory Morefield and wife Sarah, Camilla Carrin; sister, Debbie Roark; brothers, Junior Hatley, Kevin Hatley and wife Andrea; grandchildren, Zonna Faye Morefield, Theo Daniel Morefield and best friends, Junie Bright Leonard and Beverly Trivette.

A private burial will be held.

At other times, friends and family may visit the home.
