Mandy Neylon

Mandylin Rose Neylon, age 46, was born September 19, 1978. She joined her Granny, Dad, Aunts and Uncles in heaven on March 18, 2025.

Beloved wife and animal Mom, she dedicated her life to saving animals large and small and for the past 22 years to her adoring husband Chris. She recently retired from Mountain City Animal Shelter, where she worked for the past 10 years helping save every animal that came her way.

She leaves behind her loving husband Chris Neylon; dogs Zeus, Zada , Bosco and Poseidon; cats- Landon, Bob, Little John, Timmy, Spencer, Henry and Star. In Ohio she leaves behind 3 sisters, Abby Stepp, Emily Stepp and Jason(niece, Lilah Jay and nephew, Jenson Joseph) Kellie Heinz; step mom, Melanie Stepp; mother, Margie Stepp; multiple aunts and uncles, and too many cousins to list.

Mandy was light, love, and happiness; a true free spirit who brought light to everybody’s world and will be greatly missed by all. An angel on this earth, who now has her wings to fly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Stepp.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home.
