Lois Ann Boling

Lois Ann Boling, age 77, of Mountain City, TN; passed away Sunday October 1, 2023 at the Johnson County Community Hospital. Lois was born December 25, 1945 in Mountain City, TN to the late James and Betty Taylor Cornett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Loraine Lewis and brothers, Robin Cornett, Jimmy Cornett; niece, Kathy Blackburn; nephew, Gary Roberts. 

Lois was a hard worker and was employed for over 21 years at Broyhill Furniture Factory. She also worked several years at Leco and Levi. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking walks in the woods when she was able. 

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 56 years, Everett Glenn Boling; sister, Hazel Roberts of Mountain City; nieces and nephews, Ginny “Sis” Cornett, Jimmy Cornett Jr., Tim Lewis, Scott Roberts; several great nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Tim Furches officiating. The graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
