Jeremy Mullis

Joseph Jeremiah “Jeremy” Mullis of Creston, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. He was born July 13, 1989 to Judy Mullis and the late Joe Mullis.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin Mullis and sister, Jolene Mullis White.

Jeremy loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking the Appalachian Trail. He had so much love for his son and enjoyed taking him to baseball games, teaching him about football and how to fish. He was a loving father and husband who adored his family.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Ashley Mullis; mother, Judy Knight Mullis; son, Benjamin Joseph Mullis; grandmother, Frances Mullis; several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. 

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Owen Peeler officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 p.m. prior to the service.
