James “Bob” Robert Tester, age 73 of Butler, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Johnson City Medical Center. Bob was born on February 7, 1947 to the late Coolidge and Eula Tester. Everyone knows, “Bob and Faye” who drove a truck for many years. Bob also enjoyed fishing and meeting new people. He had never met a stranger and loved talking to everyone. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 53 years, Evelyn Faye Tester; son, Bobby R. Tester; grandchildren, James W. Tester, Sierra Tester, Laurel Miller, and great grandchild, Gabriel J. Tester. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Sugar Grove Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with speakers, Larry Tester, Tommy Privette, Pastor Don Winters, and military honors accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
