Jacqueline Eldreth

Jacqueline Bessie Eldreth, age 83 of Creston, NC, passed away on April 18, 2023 at her home. Jacqueline was born on January 11, 1940 in West Jefferson, NC to the late Elmer and Ruth Farmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Eldreth; sister, Mildred Ducker and brother, William Roark.

First and foremost, Jacqueline loved the Lord. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed family time, especially Sunday dinners at her house. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and also liked to collect angels and Jesus figurines. Jacqueline was a member of Three Forks Baptist Church for many years and she dearly loved her church family. 

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Diane Cornett (David), Rebecca Faircloth; step-children, Brenda Eldreth, Kenny Eldreth, Larry Eldreth; sister, Jean Phillips (Jerry); grandchildren, Josh Baldwin (Mindy), Stephanie Walker (Mark); great grandchildren, Kylee & Gavin Cheek, Weston Walker, Taylor Baldwin; special friends, Margaret Allen, Margaret Faircloth; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd Day officiating. The graveside service will immediately follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery in Creston, NC.
