Hilda S. Main

Hilda S. Main, age 83, of Zionville, NC, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Foley Center in Blowing Rock, NC. She was born in Johnson County, TN on May 13, 1935. Hilda was preceded in death by her father, Ivan Church and her mother, Vera Byers Church, one sister, Peggy Maine. She is survived by her husband of 61 years George Main, sons, Edward Main, Tony Main, Kevin Main and wife Brenda, Darren Main and wife Jennifer, one daughter, Teena Main, nine grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, one brother, Nolan Church, Special friends, Jennifer Mayberry, Jackie Cook, Pat and Mary Sue Morgan, Mabel Methodist Church and the Mabel Community, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2 p.m. Friday October 12, 2018 at Evergreen Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tony Potter to officiate. Music will be performed by Grady Isaacs who was a piano student of Vera and Hilda. The graveside Service and interment will follow from the Greer- Main Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Main, Tony Main, Kevin Main, Darren Main, Ian Main and Chase Main, Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Wallace, Ronnie Garland, Bobby Thacker and Larry Donnelly.
