Herman Parsons

Herman Parsons, age 89, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday November 2, 2020 at Mountain City Care Center. He was born June 1, 1931 in Ashe County, NC to the late James Edward Parsons and Jean Combs Parsons. In addition to his parents, Herman was preceded in death by his daughter, Vada Parsons, sister, Pauline Lewis, and brother, Darrell Parsons. Survivors include his wife Madeline Mahala Parsons; sisters, Mary Lou McCoy of Ashe County, Agnus Dotinger of North Wilkesboro, Thelma Vineyard of Winston-Salem; brothers, Roger Parsons of Ashe County, Delmar Parsons of Delaware; several nieces, nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 5, 2020 with Pastor Eddie Porter officiating at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are family and friends. The family will receive friends at the home 1129 Rainbow Rd., Mountain City, TN.
