Harold Eugene Russ 

Harold Eugene Russ, age 62, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at his home. He was born January 22, 1962 to the late Lonnie Eugene Russ and Mary Jane Watson Russ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Jackson Russ.

 Harold graduated from Virginia High School in 1981. After high school Harold joined the United States Air Force and served at McGuire Air Force Base where he became a senior airman. Harold had a deep love for his daughter Sarah and he was always laid back and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed weightlifting, and was a health advocate. Harold also was an animal lover.

Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Sarah Russ; brother, Jimmy Russ and wife Connie; step son, Conner Jackson; sister-in-law, Vivian Lester; step-granddaughter, Iris Jackson; and his niece, Ashley Russ Mummery.

 It was Harold’s wish to be cremated and his family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local children’s charity or a local animal rescue.
