EJ Reece

EJ Reece, age 90, passed away January 24, 2025 at Mountain City Care & Rehab Center. EJ was born September 22, 1934 in Trade, TN to the late Grover and Nannie Reece. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.

EJ was an avid fisherman and loved playing music when he was able. He was a loving father and grandfather who loved his family. He was a member of Center View Church of Christ and enjoyed being part of the congregation.

Those left to cherish his memories include his son, Johnny Miller and wife Kathy; sisters, Nell Moser, Kate Baker; brother, Steve Reece; grandchildren, Jay Miller (Melia), Niki Miller, Johnny Ray Miller, Heather Mann, Mindy Johnson; ten great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his beloved church family. 

The family would like to especially thank his brother, Steve Reece, for looking after him during his sickness.

A private service will be held.
