Donald Collins

Donald Ray Collins, age 74, passed away unexpectedly February 26, 2024. Donald was born February 25, 1950 in Melvin, Kentucky to the late Glen and Daisy Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Collins and Charles Collins and sister, Glenda Trout.

Donald was a very special man who enjoyed working and taking care of his family. 

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Brenda Collins; daughters, Tammy Walters, Michelle Vomsteeq, Sarah Mayer (David), Brandy Funsch, Crystal Collins, Syndi Collins; step-son, Kaylon Sutherland; sisters, Edith Collins, Jenny Reynolds (Earl), Kathy Henderson (Ronnie); brothers, Ronald Collins (Carolyn), Roy Collins (Kelly), David Collins (Terry); fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren; special friend, Marty Sells; several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. The graveside service and burial will follow the funeral at Price Cemetery in Shady Valley, TN. Pallbearers will Dustin Mitchell, Dalvin Mathis, Kaylon Sutherland, Robert Harper, Roy Collins, and Steve Harper. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Miller, Roy Miller, Rick Harper, and Robert Harper, Sr.
