Deborah Stansberry

Deborah Stansberry, age 64, of Elizabethton, TN passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born June 13, 1960 to the late Raymond and Betty Dixon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Stansberry; an infant child; special nephews, Reggie Anderson and Justin Vanover; and her best friend, Date Malone.

Deborah adored her family, especially her great-granddaughters, and she fought her illness as long as she could to be with them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Deborah enjoyed music of all kinds, puzzle books, and a good cup of coffee.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter, Heather Stansberry; son, Michael Stansberry II and second son, Roy Jenkins; grandchildren, Michael Stansberry III “Bo”, Micah Berry (Bella Berry), Troy Berry, Roy Junior Jenkins, Raven Jenkins, Gabe Jenkins, and Tatum Jenkins; great grandchild, Opal Paige Grant and Juniper Lee Berry; sister, Tommie Dixon; brother, Eddie Dixon; second mom, Shelby Palmer; special friends, Tim Treadway, Eddie Peters, Ken Pierce and Dean Pierce; and her fur baby, Toshie.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Park with Larry Barry officiating. Pallbearers will be Micah Berry, Michael Stansberry III “Bo”, Troy Berry, Eddie Peters, Junior Cole, Logan Wilson, and Tim Treadway. Honorary pallbearers are Ken Pierce, Dean Pierce, Michael Stansberry II, and Roy Junior Jenkins.
