David Ryan

David T. Ryan, age 70, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at his home in Shady Valley, TN. David was born February 12, 1953 in Trenton, NJ to the late John C. Ryan and Dorothy W. Ryan. 

David could talk to anyone and never met a stranger. He was a wonderful family man and the best husband and father anyone could ever ask for. He was a friend to many and would help absolutely anyone in need. David enjoyed antiques and liked to fish. He was heavily involved in his church and very active in his community. He was a long-time Boy Scout leader, assisted with Civil Air Patrol, and was a union president with the Polk County School Board.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 46 years, Bonnie Ryan; daughter, Jessica Keller (Brian); son, Justin Ryan (Sarah); sister, Elizabeth Ferrell; brothers, Andrew Ryan, Jeffrey Ryan, Hugh Ryan, and Sean Ryan; grandchildren, Joseph Keller, Jacob Keller, Addisen Coppage, John Keller, Matthew Ryan, and grandson due in early June; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held in Shady Valley, TN at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
