Charlotte Reppart Hoback, age 85, passed away November 7, 2024. Charlotte was born September 6, 1939 in Ohio to the late Ellworth and Lena Reppart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Reppart.
Charlotte was a Godly woman who diligently read the Bible and studied her daily devotionals. She was a member of Ackerson Creek Church of Christ and also enjoyed her job as the church secretary. Helping at the church was among many clerical jobs she held over the years, including Riverside Church of Christ, Mandarin Church of Christ, First Union Bank, and John Hancock Life Insurance. She was also a medical assistant at an eye clinic and a secretary for an adjuster. Her work ethic and devotion to God was an inspiration to everyone.
Charlotte was also a fantastic cook and made the best pecan pie. Being surrounded by family and preparing meals for the holidays was among one of her favorite things to do. She also enjoyed crocheting and collecting dolls.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Paul Hoback; daughter, Patricia Tabb (Charles) and their children Clarice (Dylan and Olivia), Sheila (Luke), (Lena, Tyler), William, Crystal (Andrew), (Cayden, Anastasia); daughter, Melissa Price and her children, Haley, Jaclyn, and Logan; daughter, Paula Hoback and son, Caleb; brother, Ronnie Reppart; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home with Chuck Stewart officiating.
