Catrina Silva

Catrina “Tina” Silva, age 61 of Burnsville, NC, passed away October 27, 2024 at Mission Hospital of Asheville. Tina was born July 1, 1963 to Lowell Hutchinson and the late Barbara Hutchinson. 

Tina was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting and loved flowers and animals of all kinds. She was of the Christian faith and grew up attending Harmon Chapel Christian Church. 

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 20 years, Albert “Ajay” Silva; daughter, Amber Bailey and Tina’s special grand-dogs, Maddie & Colt; sons, James Bailey and wife Renee, Ryan Bailey and wife Brittany; father, Lowell Hutchinson; sister, Allison Walker and husband Jimmy; brother, Stuart Hutchinson and wife Donna; grandchildren, Tate Bailey, Henry Bailey, Ella-Jo Bailey, Wrenley Bailey; several cousins and her beloved dog, Maxwell. 

The graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Blevins Cemetery in Shady Valley with Preacher Randle Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Ryan Bailey, James Bailey, Jimmy Walker, Stuart Hutchinson, Terry Hutchinson, Johnny Hutchinson, and Tom Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shady Valley Fire Department, c/ o Conley Gentry, 340 Walker Rd., Shady Valley. TN 37688.
