Bill Robinson

Billy Fred Robinson, age 77, passed away March 10, 2025. Bill was born October 7, 1947 to the late Frank and Ollie Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Celesta Christine Robinson and brothers, Dallas, Bud, Jim, and Marlan.

Bill was a kind hearted man and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He loved children and donating to various children’s organizations gave him great joy. He made sure everyone was well fed and always had a cookie for you. He also enjoyed mowing and would mow his neighbors’ yards for fun.

Those left to cherish his memories include his daughters, Lisa Jones (Danny), Kim Smith (Jim), Rachel Jones; sons, Michael Robinson (Melissa), William Robinson, Dustin Jones (Kayla); sister, Shirley Hedges; brother, Eugene Robinson (Rita); grandchildren, Danielle, Dalton, Desirae, Derek, Dara, Jordan, Kelsey, Haley, Zoey, Austin; great grandchildren, Parker, Addie, Peyton, Emarie, Bristol, Sutten; several nieces, nephews and his special dogs, Milo and Marco.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
