Betty Pritchard

Betty C. Pritchard, age 82 of Butler, TN, passed away January 21, 2025 at her home. Betty was born November 17, 1942 to the late Cecil and Dorothy Oliver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Kate Arnold; brothers, Bill Dugger, Tony Pierce, Frank Oliver, Ronnie Oliver, Mickey Oliver; infant sister, Dottie Sue Oliver and infant brother, Terry Oliver.

Betty loved hunting antiques and collecting them brought her much joy. She also had a special love for children and was known as the neighborhood grandmother. She was a member of Fish Springs Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 63 years, Don Pritchard; daughter, Tammy Morefield (Doug Arney); grandson, Austin Morefield (Jamie Buffkin); nephew, Michael Oliver; special family members, Cassie Church, Jerri Williams, Chase Williams, Jessica Arney, John Lee and Ellie; her loyal companions, Jackson and Daisy; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many more special friends. 

It was her wish to be cremated and no formal service held.

The family of Betty C. Pritchard has entrusted her care to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
