Angela "Angie" Laws

Angela Dawn “Angie” Laws, of Butler, passed away September 17, 2023 at her home.

Angela was born on February 26, 1974 in Mountain City, TN, marking the start of her life’s journey. Angela cherished spending quality time with her sons, Brandon and Jacob and her great nieces, Paityn and Libby. They often enjoyed going on adventures in the woods and telling stories. Family was her priority and she adored her beloved dog, Rexy. She found joy in listening to her family play music, as well as collecting antiques and Native American artifacts.

Angela is survived by her parents, Ed and Sue Laws; sons, Brandon Street and Jacob Gensler and wife Ashley; granddaughter, Athena Gensler; brother, Dwayne Laws and wife Kim; nephews, Michael Laws and Summer, Grady Stout and wife Evelyn and niece, Chassidy Laws. Angela was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Henley.

A private graveside service will be held at Laws Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Grady Stout, Brandon Street, Jacob Gensler, Jim Phyllips, Michael Laws, and Dwayne Laws.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Angela's memory be made to Mountain City Funeral Home.
