Alexander Eastridge, age 20, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. He was born on November 24, 1999 to Danny Eastridge and Elizabeth Ann Eastridge in Johnson City, TN. Alex was an overall great guy. He was very compassionate and loved helping others and making them laugh. He had a beloved dog, Ace, that he adored. He loved being outdoors, enjoying mountain views, and sunsets. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially four-wheeling. Alex had many friends and he will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish his memories include his mother, Elizabeth Ann Eastridge; father, Danny Eastridge; brother, Danny Eastridge (Dee); uncles, Andy McLeod, Randy McLeod, Sandy McLeod, Mike Eastridge cousin, Kristy); special friends, Robert Daugherty, Emilee Scott, Johnathan Arnold, Hunter Lewis, Brian Duperry, Casey Stanley, Branden Cox, Shotgun, Shana Stout, and many more. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Mountain City Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Minister Michael Icenhour officiating. Alex will be taking his one last ride home immediately following the service with his friend, Robert Daugherty. Graveside service will be held at Stateline Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Eastridge, Hunter Lewis, Brian Duperry, Sandy McLeod, Randy McLeod, and Johnathan Arnold. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Deyton, Joe Orndorff, Ernie Dugger, and Robert Daugherty. It would have been Alex’s last wish that everyone come dressed as they would every day, and not dress up for a funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain City Funeral Home or the family’s personal GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses.
