Agnes “Ann” Hancock, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Born on October 8, 1947, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Ann lived a life marked by love, faith, and devotion to her family.

 

Ann was known for her caring and selfless nature, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her love for the simple joys in life was evident in her passion for flowers, birds, and fishing, activities that brought her immense happiness and peace.

 

A woman of deep faith, Ann was a devoted prayer warrior, finding strength and solace in her heavenly Father. Her unwavering faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing comfort to those around her.

 

Ann is survived by her son, Jason Hancock, and his wife, Rachel. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her grandchildren, Elijah and Olivia, who brought her endless joy and pride. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire her family and all who knew her.

Ann’s memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Mountain City Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rainbow Cemetery, Mountain City, next to Ann’s parents.
