Dollie Berniece South Dollie Berniece South, age 73, of Trade, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Johnson County, Tennessee on July 4, 1936 to the late Charles and Lettie Canter Miller. In addition to her parents, Dollie was preceded in death by an infant son, Gerald Blaine South; one sister, Charlotte Dunn and two brothers: Charles Jr.? Miller and Ronnie Lee Miller. She was a member of God?s Country Church. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Burl South; two daughters: Donna Poole and husband Don of West Grove, Pennsylvania and Carla South Connell of Newark, Delaware; four surviving sisters: Judy Cornett, Marie Rominger, Mary Roark, all of Mountain City, Tennessee and Evelyn Dowell of Independence, Virginia; two brothers: Stacy Miller and Lane Miller, both of Trade, Tennessee; grandchildren: Jonathan Connell, Aaron Connell, Donald Poole III, Danny Poole and Dottie Ashby; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010 from the Mountain City Funeral Home with Mr. Ronnie Manuel to officiate. Music will also be under the direction of Mr. Ronnie Manuel. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Reece Cemetery, Trade, Tennessee. Active Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Connell, Aaron Connell, Donald Poole Jr., Donald Poole III, Daniel Poole and Lane Miller. Honorary Pallbearers are: Stacy Miller and David Ashby.
