Bettie Jo Humphrey Roberts Bettie Jo Humphrey Roberts, age 73, of 1206 Sprucey Lane, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at her residence. She was born on September 30, 1936 in Elizabethton, Tennessee to the late Lee Roy Humphrey and Anna Lee Ward Snyder. In addition to her parents, Bettie was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Humphrey. Bettie had lived in Delaware for many years and had lived in Johnson County, Tennessee for the last 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Bettie was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Bettie is survived by her husband, Bobby Dale Roberts; three daughters and sons-in-law: Dianna Susan and Robert Back of Taylormill, Kentucky; Donna Jo and Jay Peterson of Wilmington, Delaware and Laura Beth and Francis Kaiser, also of Wilmington, Delaware; two sons: Christopher Lee Hall and Jonathan Spencer Hall, both of Wilmington, Delaware; seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Howard and Rev. Dean Smith to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Phillippi Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Bettie?s grandsons.
