Wilton Zane Hawkins

Wilton Zane Hawkins, age 80, of Laurel Bloomery went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2010. Born On November 8, 1929 in Johnson County, TN , Wilton was a son of the late Richard Bruce Hawkins and Minnie Felts Hawkins. He was also preceeded in death by his sister Velma Gentry, his brothers, Willard, Newton and Richard Hawkins and half brother Walter Shumate. Survivors include his sisters, Annis Gentry and Lillian Hawkins both of Laurel Bloomery, TN and Bonnie Icenhour of Mountain City; brothers Calvin Hawkins and Lee Hawkins and wife Bonnie both of Laurel Bloomery and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive freinds from 6-7 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Tom Prater officiating. The burial service will be held at 1:30 P. M. Wednesday January 13, 2010 at the Acre Field Cemetery. Military honors willl be provided by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
