R.G. RED' WRIGHT R.G. Red' Wright, age 68, of Grad Blanc, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at his home. Red was born on October 23, 1941 in Johnson County, Tennessee, the son of the late James and Virgie Ruth (Harper) Wright. In addition to his parents, Red was preceded in death by three brothers: Loyd, Boyd and James David Wrigth. He married Delores Hurlburt in Grand Blanc in 1977. Red was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1964 - 1966. He was employed by General Motors in production until his retirement. Red enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, fishing and camping. He was Master Gardener and loved to listen to the Boston Red Sox baseball games on the radio. Red is survived by his wife, Delores of Grand Blanc, Michigan; four children: Jeffery Wright and wife Kathleen of Aurora, OH, Stephen Wright and wife Geralyn of Flint, MI, Catherine Warren and husband Matthew of Midland and Gina Lane and husband Lonnie of Grand Blanc, MI; eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; brother, Paul Wright and wife Lois; six sisters: Priscilla Wilcox and husband James, Phyllis Steagall and husband Durward, June Woodward, Reba Perdue and husband John, Lois Blevins and husband Roger, Sue Gentry and husband Conley and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, 2010 from the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Grand Blanc, Michigan with Chaplain Dwight Murphy officiating. The family extends many thanks to Heartland Hospice and to Dr. Reddy and his entire staff for their care and concern.
