Mary Alice Ketron Mary Alice Ketron, age 83, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Christian Care Center. She was a native of Princeton, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ressie Cuddy Long. Mary Alice was a retired employee of Mercy Hospital, Sacramento, California. She was a member of the Keystone Free Will Baptist Church. Mary Alice was a member of the church choir, the Helping Hands Sunday School class and the Ladies Auxiliary. She moved to Johnson City, Tennessee in 1947 and married Jack in 1967 and moved to California where they lived for 22 years. Survivors include her husband, Andrew Jack' Ketron of the home; a stepson and his wife, Charlee and Gail Ketron; three grandsons: Cory, Andrew and Micah Ketron, a great grandson, Kaiden Ketron, all of Lexington, Tennessee and several special cousins. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Keystone Free Will Baptist Church, under the direction of Preacher Bill Greer and Pastor Nathan Jennings. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. A committal service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Eastlawn Cemetery, Kingsport, Tennessee. Active pallbearers will be: grandsons, Cory, Andrew and Micah Ketron, Tony Birchfield, Harland West , Bud Gobble, Earl Dyks and Doug Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be: the Deacons and Trustees of the Keystone Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Frank Woods and Rev. Raymond Amos. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to: the Keystone Free Will Baptist Church, 110 Bettie Street, Johnson City, TN 37601.
