Bill Ray Stout Bill Stout, age 81, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at his residence. He was born on September 21, 1928 in Johnson County to the late Stacy and Hazel Phillips Stout. He was a member of Roan Creek Baptist Church. Bill was a retired accountant and owned his own business, "Furniture Liquidators of Mountain City". He received his Bachelor's Degree from East Tennessee Teachers College (ETSU). Bill had a great love of church, flying, family, friends and country. He will be greatly loved and missed. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Brenda; three daughters, Sharon and husband Ron Egan and Sue and husband Steve Murray both of Fayetteville, NC; and Crystal and husband Mike Roark of Huntsville, Alabama; stepson, Alan and wife Belinda Kyte of Butler, TN; brother Blaine Stout and wife Elizabeth of Mountain City, TN; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren and one step great grandchild; three nephews, David, Donald and Steven Stout; father-in-law, Ralph Allen of Mountain City, TN; sister-in-law, Glenda Fritts and husband Jackie of Mountain City, TN and many special friends including very special friends, Eric and Jennifer Woods whom he considered his adopted children. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Mountain City Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend David Hankle and Johnny Sanders officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Wallace, Bob Miller, Johnny Sanders, Eric Woods, Bill Farmer, Bill Brookshire, Rev. Harry Cunningham, Rev. Derl McCloud, Dr. Don Tarr and Dr. Gary Pitts. Music will be provided by Kerry Gentry, Clay Wilson and Kristie Richardson. Flowers are accepted and may be sent to the home or memorials may be made to Roan Creek Baptist Church, Mountain City, TN.
