Lois Ann' Stanley Lois Ann Stanley, age 70, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on May 14, 1940 to the late Garney and Ethel (Roark) Miller. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann Stanley. Ann was a nurse's aide for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of them, especially her son, Robert. Ann is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bob L. Stanley; her son, Robert Stanley of Mountain City, Tennessee; sisters: Lorraine Barnes and husband Richard of Mountain City, Tennessee and Lucille Finley of West Virginia; brothers: Jerry Miller of North Carolina and Lester Miller and wife Pam of Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Brandon Stanley and wife Jessica of Butler, TN, Brianna Fye and Brian Fye, both of Rising Sun, Maryland and their mother, Ginny Almony of Rising Sun, Maryland; great granddaughter, Chasity Stanley; brother-in-law, Lester Joe Stanley of Maryland and James McDaniel of Butler, Tennessee; sisters-in-law: Stella Blevins and Bertie Eastridge, both of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2010 from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Danny Miller and Rev. Ricky Campbell to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be nephews. At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, 265 Lacy Road, Butler, Tennessee 37640.
