Mary Osborne

Mary M. Osborne, age 73, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with COPD. She was born on April 25, 1937 to the late Charles Thomas Wolfe and Mary Haynes Derr Wolfe. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Glenn F. Osborne, Sr.; an infant daughter, Hazel Irene Osborne, who passed away on September 11, 1963; four brothers: Dick, Val, Gene and Charles Wolfe; step granddaughter, Christy Heaton and a great grandson, Jaden Haynes. Mary was involved in the family business, 421 Discount for 27 years. She is survived by one son, Frank Osborne and wife Stella of Mountain City, TN; one sister, Rose Marie Keeney of Tullahoma, TN; two grandchildren: Ginnefer Haynes and husband Tracy of Elizabethton, TN and Samantha Osborne and fiancé Randy Bell of Myrtle Beach, SC; step-grandchildren: Billy Jones and wife Maricka of Mountain City, TN, Preston Miller and wife Tabbie of Butler, TN and Angela Rhymer of Mountain City, TN; great grandchildren: Kayin, Rheagan and Peighton Haynes; step-great grandchildren: Justin, Brandon and Brittany Rhymer, Samantha and Jonathon Jones, Paige Lipfird, Brock Surratt, Logan and Landon Miller; brother- in- law, Paul Osborne and wife Louise of PA; sister-in-law, Kitty Trivette and husband Glenn of Mountain City, TN; special friends: Edith and Harold Wilson & family; special niece, Carol Hampton and husband Johnny and several more nieces and nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ernest Widby to officiate. Honorary Pallbearers are: Glenn Trivette, Tracy Haynes, Billy Jones, Preston Miller, Harold Wilson, Randy Bell and Johnny Hampton.
