Marjorie Church, age 79, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Johnson County, Tennessee on December 13, 1930 to the late James Calvin and Arrie Swift Church. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by two sisters: Anna Pearl Miller and June Hedger and two brothers: David Church and Claude Church. Marjorie volunteered at Children's Bible Ministries for several years. She was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia and attended First Baptist Church of Mountain City. She loved her Lord and was a faithful servant to Him. Marjorie is survived by sisters: Lois Gurney Long and husband H Long, Stella Smiley, all of Mountain City, Tennessee and Della Mae Magnus and husband Ervin, of Saskatchewan, Canada and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from the Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Campbell and Dave Johnson (Director of CBM Camp) to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Pastor Ricky Campbell, Mr. Ralph Howard and Mr. Allen Mitchell. Private interment will be in Wilson Cemetery.
