Shirley Lunceford Danner Shirley Lunceford Danner, age 67, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Born on May 10, 1943 in Johnson County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Mary Laura Campbell Lunceford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Cyclone' Danner; one sister, Tina Marie Lunceford and three brothers: Bobby Eugene Lunceford, Garry Wayne Lunceford and Tommy Gordon Lunceford. Shirley loved working outside, especially in her garden. More than anything, she loved spoiling her grandchildren and taking pictures of them. In addition to her mother, Mary Laura Lunceford, Shirley is survived by five children: Marie Dowell and boyfriend, Avery of Butler, TN, Freddie Lunceford and wife Patty, Allen Lunceford and wife Tammy, all of Mountain City, TN, Debbie Bowman of Johnson City, TN and Brenda Lunceford of Duffield, VA; two sisters: Mae Fritts and husband Earnest and Sue Ward, all of Mountain City, TN; one brother, Will Lunceford of Butler, TN; grandchildren: Holly Winters, Florence Reece, Willie Dowell, Sabrina Lunceford, Daniel Lunceford, Vanessa Lunceford, Casey Lunceford and Lil' Tony Bowman; great grandchildren: Sidney, Trinity and Brother Winters, Caleb Pope, Cayleigh Pope and Caydence Reece; several nephews and special niece, Vickie Reece and husband Jeff and their children and great niece and great nephew, Samantha and Dalton Reece and special friend, Pinky Baby', of the home. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Lola Hess and Ms. Helen Taylor to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Long Hollow Mission. Private Interment will be conducted at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Avery Brown, David Icenhour, David Burgess, Jeff Norris, Daniel Lunceford and William Roush. The family will also receive friends at the home 13535 Hwy 67 W, Butler, TN 37640.
