Martha Lou Denny Martha Lou Denny, age 65, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. She was born on April 2, 1945 to the late Sally Cornett. In addition to her mother, Martha was preceded in death by a brother, Ambrose Cornett and a great granddaughter, Chrisandra Denny. She was an avid animal lover and very much loved spending time with her family and flower gardening. She attended God's Country Church. Martha is survived by daughters: Diana Lipford and husband Allen of Trade, TN and Vicki Denny of Mountain City, TN; one son, Christopher Denny of Mountain City, TN; sister, Lorraine Short of Mountain City, TN; brother, Louis Cornett of Mountain City, TN; grandchildren: Justin and Kayla Allen, Michael Aaron Denny, Brittany Pennington, Clyde Lipford, Maebelle Essick and husband Corey, Beth Lipford and Katie Lipford; great grandchildren: Destinee LaRae Allen, Soon to be great grandson, Aiden James Allen; several nieces and nephews; beloved and special friends: Shelby Mahan, Barbara Kyte, Lois Winters and family, Shellie ; beloved former husband, Gerald Denny of Shelbyville, TN and many more. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at God's Country Church with Pastor Ronnie Manuel to officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
