Heather Jolene Baumgardner

Heather Jolene Baumgardner, age 24, of 1387 Mabel School Road, Zionville, North Carolina, died Monday afternoon, November 22, 2010 at her home. Heather was born on May 14, 1986 in Watauga County, NC, to Jolene L. Baumgardner and the late Earl Edward Baumgardner. She was a former assistant manager of Wallgreens of Boone and currently a student at Caldwell Community College. Heather is survived by one son, Daniel Russom of the home; one daughter, Nora Russom of the home; her mother, Jolene L. Baumgardner of Zionville, NC; four brothers: Jason Phipps and wife Estyn of Zionville, NC, Jonathan Phipps of Mountain City, TN, Douglas Baumgardner and wife Lois of Mountain City, TN and Michael Baumgardner of Zionville, NC; one sister, Joan Baumgardner of Mountain City, TN; one nephew, Bryan Phipps of Zionville, NC; two nieces: Tanna Baumgardner of Boone, NC and Jessica Baumgardner of Morganton, NC and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Edward Baumgardner; her paternal grandparents, Roscoe and Nora Baumgardner and her maternal grandparents, Cecil and Earle Lawrence. Funeral Services for Heather Jolene Baumgardner will be conducted Saturday afternoon, November 27, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, Boone, North Carolina. The body will lie in state, at the chapel, from 1-3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Wagg, Rev. Derek Wilson and Rev. Jimmy Galgano. Burial will follow in the Trade Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. At other times, friends may call at the home of her mother, Bubba Drive, Zionville, North Carolina..
