Dora D Love

Dora D. Love, age 67, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Watauga Medical Center of Boone, North Carolina. She was born on September 23, 1943 to the late Henry A. and Georgia Wilson Miller. In addition to her parents, Dora was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Dawn Love, who passed away on March 30, 1992 and a brother-in-law, Helton Wilson. She was a graduate of Cove Creek High School and Kings Business College of Charlotte, North Carolina. Dora was a former secretary and bookkeeper for The Town of Mountain City, where she retired with 25 years of service. She was a member of Zionville Baptist Church. Dora is survived by one daughter, Carol Ann Love of Mountain City, TN; sisters: Barbara Ann Wilson, Rebecca F. Wagner and husband John, all of Mountain City, TN and Ollie J. Phipps and husband Hoover of Trade, TN; aunt, Ruth Brown of Boone, NC; several cousins, nieces, nephews and their families and many special friends. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Zionville Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Carl Johnson to officiate. Graveside Service and Interment will follow the funeral service from the Zionville Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews.
