Mona Lisa Brown Mona Lisa Brown, age 24, of Butler, Tennessee, formerly of Elizabethton, Tennessee, where she had lived for 12 years, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, December 27, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Boone, North Carolina on March 14, 1986 to Delores Brown of Butler, Tennessee and the late George Robert Brown, who passed away on October 13, 2009. In addition to her Daddy', Mona was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dranny and Poppie', Jake and Cora Lee McFadden; paternal grandparents, Granny and Grandpa', Betty and Claude Brown and her cousin, Robbie McFadden. Mona loved people to come by her home and visit, especially the babies. She loved her Care Bears, music and going to the beach. She had attended Nelson Chapel Baptist Church, where she was recognized as the official greeter. Mona is survived by her Mommy', Delores Brown, of the home; her sisters: Vickie Brown, Janie Brown, both of Butler, Tennessee and Norma Stimmer of Johnson City, Tennessee; one special niece, Catrina KK' Brown; her sissy and best friend, Nelisha Hampton; special mom, Sarah Wilson and honey Jerry Wilson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Mountain City Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:30 p.m. with Mr. Richard Stout and Mr. Gary Odom to officiate. Music will be under the direction of family and friends. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Wilson Family Cemetery, located on Cross Mountain Road. Pallbearers are: Reid McFadden, Doug McFadden, Jerry Wilson, Timmy Mains, A.J. Russom and B.J. Porter. Honorary Pallbearers are: Robert McFadden, Fred South, Mick Hampton, Jack Brown, Hospice of Johnson City and Danny Furchess. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the family at Mountain City Funeral Home.
