Albert R. Brown, age 70, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. He was born on December 15, 1940 to Mary Ellen Hammons Brown of Mountain City, Tennessee and the late Lewis Brown. Albert was an automotive mechanic for many years. In addition to his mother, Mary Ellen Hammons Brown, Albert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Farmer of Mountain City, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Earl Farmer of Mountain City, Tennessee; grandchild, Tripp Farmer; niece, Rita Horne of Alabama and nephews: Randy Farmer of Damascus, Virginia and Rick Farmer of Atlanta, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 11-12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Smith to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Kenny Price and Lois Price Dunn. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Hammons Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Albert's mother, 275 D. Curd Lane, Mountain City, TN 37683.
