Pearl Snyder

Pearl Snyder, age 90, of Mountain City, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Mountain City Care Center. She was born in Johnson County on March 27, 1920 to the late Charlie and Hester Dunn Icenhour. Pearl was a very hard worker and enjoyed working in her garden, canning and cooking, which she was very good at. Pearl was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband , James Snyder; sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth and Peggy Snyder, Charles Snyder, Robert and Nancy Snyder, Larry Snyder and Terry Snyder; brothers: Luther Icenhour, Herbert Icenhour and wife Maxie and Fred Icenhour and wife; grandchildren: Mitchell Snyder, Daniel Snyder, Elizabeth Hockett, Jeff Snyder, Lisa Greer, Cindy Snyder, Teresa Kurtz, Christine Perkins, Mary Beth Morrison , Charlie Snyder and Tina Snyder, ; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her beloved friend and dog, Buddy. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from the Phillippi Cemetery.
