Earl William Brown

Earl W. Brown, age 79, of Trade, Tennessee, passed away into the loving arms of his Savior on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Watauga Medical Center of Boone, North Carolina. He was born on March 19, 1931 to the late General Lee Brown and Dovie Pennell Brown. In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by step-son, Ervin Lewis; sister, Julia Mae Hodge; brothers: Raleigh Brown, infants General Clay Brown and Wesley Brown; grandchildren: Gabriel Abaiah Noah Brown, Robert Aaron Brown and William Elijah Brown; great grandchild, Anthony Domenic Cancellieri and a brother-in-law, Ray Brown. Earl was a former employee for Brown Construction and Snyder Brothers Sawmill. One of Earl's biggest enjoyments was going to yard sales. He was a member of Centerview Church of Christ. Earl is survived by a son, Aaron Brown and wife Tammy of the home; daughter, Janice Dunn and husband Hobert of Mountain City, TN; step son, Darrel Lewis and wife Marilee of Boone, NC; sisters: Iva Lee Robinson and husband Charles of Trade, TN, Veralee Brown of Trade, TN and Faye Hodge of Morganton, NC; one brother, Ed Brown of Trade, TN; grandchildren: Hanna Brown, Heaven Brown, Holly Brown, Jennifer Tester, Kristi Tester, Heather Lewis, Mitchel Lewis, Cristal Blevins, Pearl Cancellieri and Selena Maria Garcia; great grandchild, Payton Luke Cancellieri and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bill Reece and Max Greene to officiate. Music will be provided by Tammy Brown, Hanna Brown and Linda Fowler. Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2011 from the Trade United Methodist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Jerry Hodge, Darrel Lewis, Mitchel Lewis, Harvey Reece, Willie Debord and Michael Reece. Honorary Pallbearers are Members of Johnson County Rescue Squad, Amedisys Home Health and Members of Trade Volunteer Fire Department. Memorials may be made to the Trade United Methodist Church.
